ALTERNTOR 62.5 KVA, 3 Phase, 415 Volts, 50 C/S 0.8 Power factor, 1500 RPM Self excited, self regulated, screen protected alternator brush less manufactured as per I.S 4722 and or the latest I.S specification with all standard accessories as supplied by manufacturer. Make: Crompton / Stamford / Jyoti / NGEF/ Kirloskar ARRANGEMENT Engine and alternator, as above should be fixed on suitable base frame of sturdy design made of channels with necessary reinforcement to take the load of engine and alternator and provided with 8 Nos. dunlop make antivibrating pads. AMF PANEL The AMF Panel shall be totally enclosed dead front pattern, mounted within sound proof enclosure, as per standard specification of manufacturer duly painted with synthatic paint. The panel shall be complete with all internal wiring, Cable glands, removeable side panel for easy access and locking arrangement to prevant tempering and having by pass arrangement for isolating the panel from main supply for carrying out maintenance / repair to control panel suitable automatic transfer switch suitablly rated for continous 3 Phase supply duly double throw mechanically held and electrically operated having inter locking arrangement to ensure only one position. IP rating of acoustic panel IP-54. NORMAL or "EMERGENCY" main contract shall be protected by arching contracts and operating transfer time shall not exceed fifteen seconds. All replacable contractors, coils, spring control machanisum shall be suitable for front operation / maintenance with out dio assembly / disconnecting of power source. The panel shall be provided with copper bus bars of suitable capacity duly dinned and PVC insulated. The pannel shall be suitable for following operation. OPERATION The normal or mains source shall be constantly monitored by a main voltage monitor. When main voltage fails or drops below 80% adjustable and selectable of the rated voltage or incase of two phase / single phase supply, the automatic signal to the control system shall give a starting signal to generating set. As soon as thediesel enerating set reaches its operating speed and attains its operating voltage the load shall be transferred on the generating set. Upon the return of the normal source voltage of 90% of rated voltage for a minute the switch shall retransfer the load to the normal source. The automatic control system shall reset it-self and start the engine generating set upon the failure of normal source. In the event of failure of the diesel generating set to start due to any fault, contractors / switch shall get energised without any time delay on the restoration of the normal source. If the D.G. Set fails to start and does not reach its operating speed in 25 second in three attempts the set shall automatically be disconnected and locked in isolated position. A set switch to stimulate a normal source failure shall be provided for routine testing of the transfer switch panel and D.G. set. Automatic transfer switch panel shall be provided with the following protection gear, instruments and accessories. Neutral isolation by overlapping contacts. Adjustable time delay relay for transfer and retransfer of loads of make TEKNIKA / L&T / Siemen's and Telemechanik & PIC. Engine start / stop control relays three attempt start facility & failure to start lockout of make L&T / SIEMEN's / TELEMECHANICK / TEKNIKA / PIC. Alternator contractor 3 Pole of suitable size with over load relay, short circuit and 3 Nos. HRC fuses with base for protection relay of make L&T / SIEMEN's TELEMECHANIK / TEKNIKA & HRC fuses of make L&T / GE. Auto / Manual / Test selector switches AE / IMP / VISHAL. Main contractors, L&T / SIEMEN's, GE make. One set of main supply voltage monitor to identify low voltage / complete failure and initiates necessary signal for operation of automatic control gear. Push buttons start / stop / reset / test. Earthing with copper bus bar of Suitable rating duly tinned through out the length of panel at its bottom. BATTERY AND LEADS 2 Nos. SMF / Exide / Amron make 12 Volts 25 Plate 180 AH capacity battery, with acid level indicating floater, battery stand, call and lead to take off connection. Suitable size of armourd cable for (D.G. Set 62.5 KVA) of length required for the connection and suitable cable glands for making connection from alternator to control panel. The control panel will be complete with internal wiring, necessary fuses, cable and other accessories and cost external control wiring. SOUND PROOF ENCLOSURE ( CANOPY ) The canopy of generator shall be sound proof ( Accoustic ) enclosure suitable for 62.5 KVA diesel generating set complete in all respect having following specification / features :- Fabricated as per standard specification of manufactures Stuffing done with Rock wool of 96 KG / CUM density and 100 mm thickness. Rock wool supported with Tissue paper and perforated sheets of 1.6 mm thickness having 0.5 mm holes. Residential type silencer provided to lower the noise of exhaust outlet, noise level 1.00 Mtr. 73.5 db. Canopy treated for anti rust with duco paint with primer and colour compound. Fresh air inflor and proper ventilation. Modular in construction and provided with lockable doors. The generating set with AMF panel and sound proof canopy shall be complete in all respect.
