Flooring Providing & laying heavy duty coloured Epoxy flooring, complying with flooring requirements as per Good Laboratory Practices norms as detailed: Providing and laying 4mm thick high density epoxy based heavy duty industrial screen flooring and topped with 1mm thick of self levelling compound to achieve total thickness of 5mm.This system will make a smooth surface and will be used to take load movements on air casters. The floor shall also offers resistance toabsorb water, oil and industrial chemicals etc and shall be very easy for cleaning the surface. Maximum expected ambient temperature can be very high even more tha room temperature. Flexible modified epoxy for crack bridging,impact absorption and application over substracts with highdifflection or vibration. Epoxy flooring composition systemshall be a resin rich composite with low viscosity, clearepoxy primer for maximum bond potential.100% solids, top coat for final seal. Matrix coating system shall consists ofprime coat, screed coat and topping coat.The primary coatshall be a two component full solid coating with excellent required for the base floor and thickness that is proposedto built up as per directions ofEngineer in charge. The built up thickness of this screed floor shall be arround 3000microns. The screed shall be kept for curing upto 4 to 5hours to get workable strength for next proceedure. An intermediate coat (Base coat) is to be applied to avoid anypinholes, waviness etc. The Top finish coat shall compriseof Two component epoxy urethane urea coating which is applied by lambs wool roller / roller notched trowel . Total built up thichness shall be arround 2000 microns. Dust &dirt has to be removed from thesurface before starting the top coat.The colour pigment shall be added to achieve thenecessary finish colour as approved and directed by Engineer in charge. The rate shallalso include surface preparation such as Acid itching wherein acidic water shall be used to clean the floor by means of scrubber & washing with sufficient water, the oil, grease & foreign particles areto be cleaned properly from the surface. The process shallalso include cleaning of the soaked oil to get good bonding

of the epoxy floor & durability. Burning procedure shall be carried out (if required) to remove the oil till the floorbecome bright white / desired colours. The pot holes andexpansion joints (if any) are to be filled with the suitable material. The pot holes shall be filled & levelled with potfilling compound. Similarly the cracks & expansion jointsshall be filled with crack seal compound, having the expansion & compression properties as per the surrounding temperature. After final coating, it should be kept for 24hours for functional cure. Self levelling compound can be applied if required to make the surface smooth and levelled. The cement concrete flooring shall be how ever measure under item No 73A and paid for separately. The rate quoted for this item shall be only for epoxy flooring system for the operations and procedure duly mentioned bonding on to concrete surface. The application is by lambskin short pile roller / screeder at a spreading rate of0.25 to 0.75 kgs per sqare meter. Total built up thickness should be 200 micron. Primary coat shall be allowed to get track free before application of heavy duty industrial screed. The Screed coating, base lining shall be done with a three component solvent free epoxy urethane urea screed to fill the post holes / dents on the base floor and level the undulation / pot holes of the base floor.
