The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar works during the last five years. The experience requirements are as follows: - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimate put to tender for this tender. - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimate put to tender for this tender. - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimate put to tender for this tender. The bidder should also have completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, masonry, etc. within the last five financial years. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of a similar nature of work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The bidder should have completed similar works costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the available bid capacity. For specific values, the bidder's prior work experience is considered for works costing up to 7.5 crore (WRD Works), Rs. 7.0 Crore (Road / Bridge / Building Works), and Rs. 0.5 Crore (Electrical Works). One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the available bid capacity is required.
