The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the execution of all major items of works under the proposed contract, with a minimum of 90% completion of similar works. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40% of the value of the proposed contract. The bidder should have prior work experience with a minimum requirement of 90% or more of the original contract price for similar works completed, and the work should be continuing satisfactorily. Additionally, the bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The percentage of similar works completed is 90% or more, and the amount is not less than 90% of the original contract price.
