The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least Rs. Lakhs (the exact amount is not specified) in the last five years. In terms of percentage, the lead partner in a joint venture should meet at least 50% of all criteria, while the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of other joint venture partners will be considered if it is not less than 30% of the qualifying criteria. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90 percent completed as on the date of submission. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned.
