The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in specific areas such as road works, bridge works, and building works. For road works, the bidder should have experience in widening of carriageway up to 10 m involving items of WBM and WMM plus asphalt work done by paver, or any road work of carriageway widening involving addition of carriageway not less than 3.0 m. For bridge works, the bidder shall have experience during the last 10 financial years of executing bridge/s involving similar type of foundation and superstructure, and any bridge work having a completion cost of more than 40% of the amount put to tender. For building works, the bidder should have experience in the construction of buildings with frame structure/composite structure or load-bearing structure, with specific requirements based on the number of storeys. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The value of the proposed contract is Rs. 337.41 Lacs. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. In terms of value and percentage of similar works completed, the completion cost for bridge works should be more than 40% of the amount put to tender, and substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price.
