The required prior work experience for the bidder is in the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor, with the sub-contract involving execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The value of work is mentioned as Rs. 3,04,92,559.97/- and the Annual Financial Turnover Amount is Rs. 4,06,56,746.62/-. The bidder is required to invest a minimum cash of up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract.
