The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The bidder should have performed work as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in the last five years. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40% of the value of the proposed contract, and the percentage of completion should be at least 90%. The bidder should provide details of work performed, including project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. The bidder should also provide information on their bid capacity, including existing commitments and ongoing works, as well as works for which bids have been submitted and are yet to be completed. The total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years should be provided in Rs. Lakhs. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. Mentioned amounts include Rs. 15 lakhs, Rs. 50 lakhs, and Rs. 5 lakhs, which determine the number of engineers required for the work. The Performance Security should be an amount equal to 5% of the Contract Price.
