The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - Minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract applied for. - Experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (Building works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. - Substantially completed works should be at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract - 90 % completion of substantially completed works - The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least 90% of the original contract price. Additionally, the bidder should have acquired experience of execution of all major items of works under the proposed contract, and should provide information on the description of works, place and state, contract number, name and address of the employer, value of the contract, stipulated period of completion, value of works remaining to be completed, and anticipated date of completion. In case of a joint venture, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria.
