The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in civil engineering construction works, specifically in highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of at least the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. They should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works are defined as those that are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. In terms of values and percentages, the bidder should have completed works with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract. The substantially completed works should be at least 90% complete. The annual financial turnover should be at least equal to the annual value of the contract applied for.
