The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years, as well as quantities of work executed in the last five years in various categories such as Cement Concrete, Masonry, Earth Works, and Bituminous Work. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The bidder is also required to have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. Additionally, the bidder must invest a minimum of 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract.
