The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in the last five years, with completion of works of a similar nature. The bidder should have completed at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder should provide information on project name, employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, and other relevant details, along with certificates from the Engineer(s)-in-charge. The value and percentage of similar works completed are mentioned as at least 90% of the original contract price for substantially completed works. Additionally, the lead partner in a joint venture should meet not less than 50% of all criteria, and other joint venture partners' experience will be considered if it is not less than 30% of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover, in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of the contract or contracts applied for.
