The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway, road, and/or bridge works, airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as a prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated subcontractor. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 percent completed. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract, and the percentage of completion should be at least 90 percent. The bidder is required to have prior work experience, with a preliminary description of the proposed work method and schedule, including drawings and charts as necessary. The proposed methodology should include a program of construction backed with equipment planning and deployment, duly supported with broad calculations and quality assurance procedures proposed to be adopted, justifying their capability of execution and completion of work as per technical specifications within the stipulated period of completion. It is also mentioned that "Work Experience if necessary" should be submitted by the bidder, and even if the bidder has been qualified in a similar or larger size of project in the past, it shall not be deemed to be a ground reason for not giving required information for this work bid.
