The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed, with a gross value of work done up to the last date of submission being 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years, with the value of such works being considered for evaluation. The total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years is to be provided in Rs. Lakhs. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The bidder should provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions completed, and should have access to or have available liquid assets and/or credit facilities up to 25 percent of the value of the contract. The bidder should provide a statement that includes the name of the project, name of the employer, description of work, and contract number, among other details, for works of similar nature completed. The value of similar works completed is considered for evaluation, but no specific percentage is mentioned, except that substantially completed works should be at least 90% completed. For joint ventures, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria, with the experience of the other joint venture partners considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria.
