The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of road works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90% completed. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. As a subcontractor, he should have acquired the experience of execution of all major items of works under the proposed contract. In case a project has been executed by a joint venture, weight towards experience of the project would be given to each joint venture in proportion to their financial participation in the joint venture. The bidder should indicate actual figures of costs and amount for the works executed by them. The required prior work experience includes: - At least one contract of road works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. - Substantially completed works, which are at least 90% completed. - Experience as a prime contractor, joint venture, or nominated sub-contractor. - Execution of all major items of works under the proposed contract as a subcontractor. - Weight towards experience of the project given to each joint venture in proportion to their financial participation in the joint venture. The values and percentages of similar works completed mentioned are: - 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract. - 90% completed for substantially completed works.
