The bidder is required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in the last five years, with the sub-contract involving execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one similar type of work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 percent completed. The bidder should have completed works worth at least 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract and invested a minimum cash up to 25% of the value of the work during implementation of the contract. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the proposed contract value. The bidder is required to provide information on the quantity of work performed, including cement, masonry, earth, and bituminous work, as well as the value of the contract and the stipulated period of completion. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. The bidder is also required to provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions performed in the last five years, with values mentioned in Rs. Lakhs and contract value mentioned in Rs. Crore.
