The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The works may have been executed by the applicant as prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated sub-contractor. Substantially completed works means those works which are at least 90% completed. The value of similar works completed should be at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract. The bidder should also provide information on work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, where the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid documents. The value of such works should be in the same name and on works of a similar nature over the last five years.
