Project Implementation Unit Tender

The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions, specifically in works of a similar nature. They should have completed works with a total value of at least a certain amount in the last five to seven years. The bidder must have successful experience in completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar nature of building works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The bidder should provide details of the works completed, including the name of the work, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay and work completed. They should also provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor in the last five years. The bidder should provide certificates from the engineer-in-charge or other relevant authorities to support their claims of completed works. The certificates should include details such as the name of the contractor, name of the work, estimated cost of the work, tender amount, date of starting the work, date of completion of the work, and actual amount of completion of the total project. In terms of specific values, the bidder is required to provide information on the estimated cost of the work, revised estimated cost, tender amount, and actual amount of completion of the total project. They should also provide information on any compensation levied, period of extension granted, and reasons for delay, if any. The bidder should provide information on the value of similar works completed, including the amount and percentage of works such as electrical work, HVAC work, ELV work, MGPS work, CSSD work, and MOT work. For example, the bidder should provide details such as the electrical work cost, HVAC work cost, ELV work cost, MGPS work cost, CSSD work cost, and MOT work cost, as well as the percentage of completion of these works. The bidder must have successful experience in completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar nature of building works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. For Joint Venture, the qualifying threshold amount of updated completion cost would be as per the given criteria: (V-I) Lead Member: 75% of 30% of the amount put to tender (V-II) Other Member: 51% of 20.4% of the amount put to tender The bidder should have a solvency certificate of an amount of 20% (twenty percent) of the estimated cost put to tender. The required personnel with certain qualifications and experience include: - Project Manager: 15 years of experience in construction work or an M.E. with 10 years of experience - Project Engineer: 10 years of experience - Sr. Civil Engineer: 7 years of experience - Jr. Civil Engineer: 3 years of experience - Sr. MEPF Engineer: 7 years of experience - Sr. Electrical Engineer: 7 years of experience - Jr. Electrical Engineer: 3 years of experience - Sr. Mechanical Engineer: 5 years of experience - Structural Design Expert: M.E. in structure with 5 years of experience - Bio Medical Specialist: minimum of 5 years of experience - Surveyor: diploma in civil engineering or an ITI in survey with at least 5 years of experience - Safety Engineer: graduate in civil engineering - Lab Technician: B.E. in civil engineering with 3 years of experience or a diploma in civil engineering with 5 years of experience. The bidder should also have a minimum number of personnel with certain qualifications based on the cost of the work to be executed.
