Stoppage of water from gates at outlet of NDCT/IDCT by making temporary bunds of brick masonry wall in cement mortar 1:6 by using well burnt table moulded (Red) bricks etc. including cost of all labour, materials, tools and tackles etc. complete including dismantling, removing and disposing the same within a lead of 1.6 km of the same on completion of work as directed by the EIC. Note: 1. Sufficient man power and materials are required well in advance for making bund at any time as per operation requirement which may be constructed under shallow water to stop ingress of water. During construction of bund, water level of outlet tunnels are kept at possible lowest level by Operation group.

Labour charges for collecting of fallen / removal of existing nozzles from distribution pipes (of NDCT) and perforated RCC slab (of IDCT), cleaning by water jet machine and re-fixing of old (good condition) and new nozzles in the hot water distribution pipes @ 20 Mt Height for NDCT and with RCC slab at IDCT. Damaged / scrap nozzles shall be deposited to SMU store for final disposal. Note: 1. Fresh nozzles will be issued from KAPS stores free of cost against actual requirement. 2. This item includes all labour, tools and tackles, material like detergent powder and brush, transportation of new and disposal of damaged nozzles are in the scope of contractor.

For IDCT-2

Removal of settled sludge from secondary distribution ducts and hot water distribution pipe network of cement pipes inside NDCT by injecting high pressure fire water jet in pipes through nozzle openings (after removing of nozzles). Floor area of spray nozzles is situated @ 20 Mt high from the basin approximately. Item also includes collection of sludge from basin and disposal within a lead of 1.6 Km in low lying areas by providing tractor and trolley, manpower, tools and tackles etc. complete all as directed by engineer. Note: 1) Fire water shall be taken from nearby fire water hydrant. Fire water hose of required length and other required accessories will be issued by KAPS/SMU section free of charge. 2) Contractor has to work in close coordination with EIC. 3) Mobilization and demobilization of fire hoses from SMU section are in the scope of contractor. 4) Work is at a height approximately 20m. Contractor has to take optimum care and precaution of their workers engaged on the job by provideing safety belts, PPEs etc. as per instruction of safety section and Engineer in charge.

Cleaning of algae, muck, fungi and debris from the space between moisture eliminators of IDCT including collection, removal and shifting of waste materials within a lead of 1.6 km to the satisfaction of Engineer. Item includes cost of labours, tools and tackles, materials etc. complete as directed by engineer. Note: 1. All algae material / debris are to be removed with wire brushes and long handled scrappers/ water jet etc. 2. Instructions of Safety sections will be strictly adhered to and necessary safety apparel shall be provided to manpower engaged on the job. 3. There is very thin annular space between two moisture eliminators, all foreign material is to be thoroughly cleaned from these areas. These eliminators are cement "V" shaped sheets arranged in RCC drop pardi one above the other vertically from 101 mt. to 115 mt. El in IDCT on both side of platform. 4. Cleaning is to be done from side facing internal walk ways only. 5. Cleaning to be done with jet machine wherever required. 6. Contractor has to provide steel scaffolding for executing the job including erection and de-erection.

Repairing of existing Expansion joints (Vertical or Horizontal) by removing existing damaged caulking compound including Polystyrene sheets (thermocole sheet) and making fresh grooves of 25 mm wide and 50 mm deep. Providing and fixing suitable backing polystyrene sheet (thermocole sheet) of approved quality and thickness according to width of expansion joint and Pouring Two pack Gun grade polysulphide caulking compound of Pidilite / Choksey chemicals in slit for basin floor area including cost of material, transportation, removing debris, labour, tools & tackles, including mixing of two components of caulking compound thoroughly by mechanical means, applying in the joints etc. complete all as per manufacturer’s specification and as directed by the engineer. Note: 1. Payment will be made on weight of caulking compound actually used. No extra payment will be made against use of Polystyrene sheet. Caulking compound shall be deposited to EIC store before commencement of work for better control on consumption.

Providing and fixing polystyrene sheet (thermocole sheet) of size 25mm X 50mm for expansion joints vertical as well as horizontal in NDCT basin floor and buffel wall. Item includes removal of existing damaged polystyrene sheet with caulking compound provided in expansion joints (Vertical or Horizontal) by special tools and tackles, labour, stacking and disposing at location shown by engineer in charge. Cost includes cost of new material, transportation, removing debris, labour, tools & tackles etc. complete all as per manufacturer’s specification and as directed by the engineer.

Supplying and painting the existing painted/unpainted / repaired RCC surfaces of NDCT / IDCT and other structural surfaces with One coat of high build two components of coal tar epoxy paint with a minimum thickness of 100 micron DFT as per manufacturer's specification from Asian paints "SC Apcorep Coal tar epoxy or similar product from Berger / Nerolac. After cleaning, scraping of existing surfaces is done by mechanically driven scrapping equipments (electrically operated), sand papering machines, machines equipped with wire brushes. Cost includes paint, brushes, rollers, sand papers, removing of algae, equipments, labour, providing scaffolding including erection and de-erection etc. complete as per specification and as directed by engineer. Mixing of paint shall be carried out with electrically operated stirrer machine only and strictly as per Manufacturer's Specifications. NOTE:- 1. Contractor has to make necessary arrangement by deploying electronic Elcometer (calibrated) for ensuring thickness of 100 DFT of paint. 2. In NDCT, painting area covers Water distribution 02 (two)ducts at @ 14 Mt height, Grillage columns up to fill bottom - @ 13 Mt Height, Basin floor & walls, buffle wall, Racker columns, top of wall etc. 3. For IDCT, painting area covers walls, columns, beams and basin floor etc. 4. Other ancillary structures required for painting is to be carried out along with this work. 5. Actual painted area will be measured and paid in SqM. 6. Average consumption / coverage of Coal tar epoxy is 7.0 SqM per kg for achieving 100 micron DFT. Contractor has to maintain it during course of painting and follow manufacturer's specifications.

Providing, supplying and applying polymer modified Repair Mortar from Asian paints / Sika/ Fosroc/ Choksey/Pidilite/Ascolite at all elevations including cost of material, labour, erection and de-erection of scaffolding with transportation, tools and tackles etc. Complete as per manufacturers specification and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. Item is relevant for non-active areas within KAPS-1&2 plant premises.

Providing, supplying and applying Micro-concrete from Asian paints/ Sika/ Fosroc/ Choksey/Pidilite/Ascolite at all elevation including cost of material, labour, erection and de-erection of scaffolding with transportation, shuttering, tools and tackles etc. Complete as per manufacturers specification and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. Item is relevant for non-active areas within KAPS-1&2 plant premises.

Providing, supplying and applying Repair Polymer from Asian paints / Sika/ Fosroc/ Choksey/Pidilite/Ascolite at all elevation including cost of material, labour, erection and de-erection of scaffolding, shuttering, transportation, tools and tackles etc. complete as per manufacturers specification and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. Item is relevant for non-active areas within KAPS-1&2 plant premises.

Providing, supplying and applying Bonding Agent from Asian paints / Sika/ Fosroc/ Choksey/Pidilite/Ascolite at all elevation including cost of material, labour, erection and de-erection of scaffolding, transportation, tools and tackles etc. Complete as per manufacturers specification and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. Item is relevant for non-active areas within KAPS-1&2 plant premises.

Providing, supplying and applying curing compound (acrylic based)by brush from Asian paints / Sika/ Fosroc/ Choksey/Pidilite/Ascolite on newly laid concrete/ plaster at all elevation including cost of material, labour, erection and de-erection of scaffolding, transportation, brushes, tools and tackles etc. Complete as per manufacturers specification and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- 1. Item is relevant for non-active areas within KAPS-1&2 plant premises.

Supplying and applying total 03 (three) coats of primer (compatible to exterior paint supplied) and two coats of exterior emulsion paint from APEX ultima Protek from Asian Paints / Weather coat long life from BERGER / Excel top guard of kansai-Nerolac/ weather shield power flex hydro shield -ICI Dulux paint on cementitious surfaces at all heights. Item includes preparing the surface by removing of all loose paints, dirt and dusts, cleaning of surface, filling / sealing of cracks up to 3mm by crack seal / putty as specified by paint manufacturer, making good the damaged & rough surfaces smooth, minor repairs, other major cracks sealing with Birla white cement / JK white cement crack free putty, cement slurry / cement mortar. Item includes cost of paint, brushes, wire brushes, sand papers, cleaning accessories, labour, tools and tackles, transportation, loading, unloading of materials at KAPS plant site, erection and de-erection (after completion of work) of steel scaffolding of cup-lock system / H - frame, personnel safety of all workers with required PPE accessories etc., complete as per manufacturer's specifications and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Note: 1. Prior approval from engineer in charge is a must for executing painting work by brush/roller/ Spray. 2. Sample and shade shall be got approved before bulk supply at site.

Providing and laying Plain cement concrete in the mix of 1:1.5:2 (with minimum cement content using 400 Kg/CuM) by using 20 mm maximum size graded aggregate for levelling course in foundation, trenches, under floor etc. including excavation, ramming, compacting, levelling, curing, shuttering, finishing smooth all exposed surfaces etc. complete as per specification, drawings and as directed by Engineer. Note:- 1. Depth of excavation is considered as 200mm (on average) on existing ground for preparing, compacting & levelling bed for PCC. 2. Excavation is to be carried out manually only 3. Actual dimension of concrete will be measured in CuM and paid.

Supplying and fixing 0.62 mm thick colour coated corrugated sheet from TATA Bluescope Durashine brand in approved colour with machine bending according to structural profile (curved/semi-circular shape ) required at site suiting to existing round trusses up to a height of 10.0 meter including necessary providing , erection and dismantling of steel scaffolding for executing this item, using specified studs / fastners as specified from manufacturer,manpower, tools & tackles, etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge. Item includes necessary Laps in sheets in both direction and shall be as per manufacturer specification or as per relevant IS codes. (The actual area covered by sheet shall be measured for payment and no extra will be paid for overlaps embedment, wastage etc.) Note: (1) Scaffolding will be in the scope of contractor.

Providing, fabricating, erection / fixing of various types of steel structure members like rafters, columns, purlins, gates, grills, guard bars, beddings, strips etc. using M.S. angles, Square /rectangle / round hollow pipes ( tubes), Square bars, plates, flats etc. from manufacturer like TATA / JINDAL / SAIL / VIZAG including fixing in position and embedding with foundation bolts in concrete as per drawings & specification including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer including cost of paints, primer, labour, materials, erection and de-erection of scaffolding etc. complete all as per directed by Engineer in charge. Note: (1) Scaffolding will be in Contractor's scope.

Removing carefully of existing Corrugated or semi-corrugated or plain AC sheets / metal sheets/PVC Sheets at all levels, including stacking serviceable materials and disposing of unserviceable materials within a lead of 1.5 km or spreading the debris as mentioned by engineer. Item includes cost of labour, erection and de-erection of scaffolding, tools & tackles, loading, transportation, unloading etc. all complete as directed by engineer in charge. Note: (1) Scaffolding will be in Contractor's scope.

Assisting SMU and Other Section in their Sectional activities during BSD such as erection and dismantling of scaffolding/decontamination/other miscellaneous activities with tools and tackles as and when required Note: (1) Work carried out for 8 (Eight) Hours in a day will be considered as one operation including lunch and tea break. (2) If a person is dep[uted for less than 8 (Eight) Hours then payment will be made for proportionate operation.
