The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions. The total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years should be mentioned, and the bidder should provide information on work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. The bidder should provide details of projects completed, including the name of the project, employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, actual date of completion, and remarks explaining reasons for delay and work completed. The value of the contract should be provided in Rs. Crore, and quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor in the last five years should also be provided. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned, except that the bidder should have completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, pipeline, pumping station, etc. within the last five financial years. In a joint venture, the lead partner must meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs.----Crore for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works in any one year, over the last five financial years. The bidder should also provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years, in Rs. Lakhs.
