The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. The bidder should have completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, pipeline, pumping station, etc. within the last five financial years. The total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years is to be provided by the bidder. For joint ventures, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria, with the experience of the other joint venture partners considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in civil engineering constructions.
