The bidder is required to have prior work experience of a similar nature over the last five years, including the current year before the submission of the bid. The experience can be as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document. The value of similar works completed is required to be at least 20% of the estimated amount. The bidder should have completed at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. The bidder should have also completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, pipeline, pumping station, etc. within the last five financial years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs.----Crore for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works in any one year, over the last five financial years. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years, with a minimum value of Rs. 20 lakhs. The bidder's available bid capacity will be calculated based on their past work experience, specifically the maximum value of work executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder's past performance will be evaluated, and they may be disqualified if they have a record of poor performance. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. A certificate from the employers shall be submitted along with the application, incorporating clearly the name of the work, contract value, billing amount, date of commencement of works, satisfactory performance of the contractor, and any other relevant information. The experience certificate should be signed by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer.
