The bidder's prior work experience is considered based on work performed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, provided the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid documents. The experience should be in works of a similar nature over the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The bidder should also have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of Building works or road or bridge works of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed. The gross value of work done should be 90% or more of the original contract price. The bidder should have prior work experience as a prime contractor or nominated sub-contractor, with work executed in the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid, with at least 90% of works substantially completed. The required information to be provided includes project name, name of the employer, description of work, contract number, value of contract, date of issue of work order, stipulated period of completion, and actual date of completion. For joint ventures, the lead partner should meet not less than 50% of the criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. Other joint venture partners' experience shall be considered if it is not less than 30% of the qualifying criteria.
