The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in similar work, such as cement concrete, rubble pitching, earthworks, and other items. The bidder should have completed at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five financial years. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The bidder should have also completed 60% of the quantity of principal items of work like concrete, earthwork, pipeline, pumping station, etc. within the last five financial years. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract - 90% completion of substantially completed works - 60% completion of quantity of principal items of work - Achieving a minimum annual financial turnover of Rs. (amount in Crore) for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works in any one year, over the last five financial years. - Access to liquid assets of up to 25 percent of the value of the contract. Additionally, the lead partner in a joint venture must meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The audited balance sheets for the last five years should demonstrate the soundness of the applicant's financial position.
