The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar works during the last 5-7 years. The bidder should have experience in executing all major items of works under the proposed contract, and should have acquired this experience as a prime contractor, or as a member of a joint venture, or as a nominated sub-contractor. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - The bidder should have completed at least one contract with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract value within the last 5 years. - The bidder should have experience in similar works, with a substantial completion of at least 90% of the original contract price for network projects. - The similar work experience can be in the form of: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost (Rs. 1,06,66,068/-) - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost (Rs. 1,33,32,585/-) - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost (Rs. 2,13,32,136/-) - The gross value of work done should be at least 90% of the original contract price. - The lead partner in a joint venture should meet at least 50% of the qualification criteria, while other partners should have at least 30% of the qualifying experience. - The bidder should have access to financial resources, including liquid assets and credit facilities, up to 25% of the contract value. - The bidder's average annual financial turnover during the last 3 years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost of the proposed contract.
