The bidder is required to have prior work experience of executing works of a similar nature over the last Seven years. The experience can be as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor. The bidder should have completed works with a value of at least a certain amount, but the exact amount is not specified for all categories. However, for similar nature job works, the bidder should have carried out: - 40% of estimated amount X 3 works - 50% of estimated amount X 2 works - 80% of estimated amount X 1 work Additionally, specific values for similar completed works are mentioned as: - Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost (Rs. 80 Lakh) - Two similar completed works costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost (Rs. 100 Lakh) - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost (Rs. 160 Lakh) The bidder should have prior work experience in the same name and style as the work described in the bid document, within the last five years and in the current year before the submission of the bid. The average annual financial turn over during the last 3 years ending 31st March of the previous financial year should be at least 30% of the estimated cost. Similar work is defined as "New/Maintenance works of outdoor/street lighting works" in Municipal Corporation, Central/State/PWD/M.E.S./Semi Govt. and Big reputed PVT organizations. The bidder must provide copies of work orders and completion certificates from the concerned organization in the name of the tenderer.
