The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar works during the last 5 years. The specific requirements are: - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost, - OR - Two similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - 80% of the estimated cost for one similar completed work, - 40% of the estimated cost for two similar completed works. The amount of the work done at the site should be more than 50% of the total project or tender cost as on date. The bidder should have experience of having successfully completed similar works during the last 5 years, ending the last day of the month previous to the one in which applications are invited. The similar work shall mean building works only in any government organization or major public institutions. In terms of values, the estimated cost is related to amounts like Rs 1,62,30,850/-, and the average annual financial turnover during the last 05 years should be at least 20% of the estimated cost of the tender. The solvency certificate should be for an amount minimum of 20% of the estimated cost. The bidder should also have a valid registration with Gujarat state R&B department / PWD / CPWD / Irrigation department / WRD etc. at least of “AA - Class, Sp. Cat.–I Building”. The Project Engineers/Supervisors should have experience of more than 10 years. The bidder should furnish details of the annual turnover for the last 5 years, and the turnover amount for each year should be provided, along with details of the works on hand, including original construction work, and attach attested copies of work orders from clients.
