The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience of underground cable laying or jointing work or underground cable fault finding work. The bidder should have a satisfactory work completion certificate regarding the execution of work, including a work order outward number along with its value, from the order issuing authority, for the last 7 years. The experience can be under single or multiple contracts, with specific value requirements: - Under a single contract, costing not less than Rs. 1.40 Crore, which is equal to 70% of the estimated amount of the project. - Under two contracts, each costing not less than Rs. 0.80 Crore, which is equal to 40% of the estimated amount of the project. - Under three contracts, each costing not less than Rs. 0.60 Crore, which is equal to 30% of the estimated amount of the project. The works under the above contracts should be completed works only, and the work executed through open/advertised tender shall only be considered for experience of work. The work done through limited tender shall not be considered for experience. Additionally, it is mentioned that new contractors will be considered as regular contractors only after fulfilling the experience criteria, and while placing the order, the quantity distribution to each new contractor shall be restricted up to 10% of the tender amount/quantity.
