The bidder should have experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of highway (road and/or bridge works) or airport runway of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The value of the proposed contract is Rs. 3,26,96,435.88, so the bidder should have completed a contract with a value of at least 40% of this amount, which is Rs. 1,30,78,674.35. The works may have been executed by the applicant as a prime contractor or as a member of a joint venture or as a nominated subcontractor. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90% completed as on the date of submission. The bidder should also provide information on the total value of civil engineering constructions work performed in the last five years. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of the annual value of the contract applied for in any one year over the last five years. For joint ventures, the lead partner shall meet not less than 50 percent of all criteria, and the joint venture must collectively satisfy the criteria. The experience of the other joint venture partners shall be considered if it is not less than 30 percent of the qualifying criteria. The bidder should have completed at least one contract with a value of at least 40 percent of the proposed contract value, and should have substantially completed at least 90 percent of the works as on the date of submission. The bidder should also have experience in executing all main items of work described in the bid document. In terms of specific values, the bidder should have prior work experience with a value of at least Rs. 1,30,78,674.35, which is 40% of the proposed contract value. The bidder should also have liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities of Rs. 81.74 lakh, which is 25% of the contract price. The bidder should submit an affidavit stating that they have not abandoned any work of the Government of Gujarat/Government of India/any Board or Corporation under the Government of Gujarat/Government of India, nor have any contract awarded to them been rescinded during the last five years prior to the date of the bid. The bidder should also undertake to invest a minimum cash amount of up to 25% of the value of the work during the implementation of the contract.
