The required prior work experience for the bidder is measured by the formula ABC = 2*A*N-B, where A is the maximum of updated total amount of works executed in any one year of the last five financial years, N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the proposed work, and B is the amount of existing commitments and on-going works to be discharged during the time interval of N years from the bid due date. The bidder must have experience of successfully completed similar works during the last seven years. The similar work experience can be in the form of: - Three similar completed works with an updated costing of not less than 40% of the estimated cost. - Two similar completed works with an updated costing of not less than 50% of the estimated cost. - One similar completed work with an updated costing of not less than 80% of the estimated cost. The definition of similar work includes: - A single work involving earthwork of a minimum 2,12,960.00 cubic meter quantity and having a minimum updated completion cost of not less than Rs 540.81 lakhs (i.e., 80% of the estimated cost). - Two different works involving earthwork of a minimum 1,33,100.00 cubic meter quantity and having a minimum updated completion cost of each work of not less than Rs 338.01 lakhs (i.e., 50% of the estimated cost). - Three different works involving earthwork of a minimum 1,06,480.00 cubic meter quantity and having a minimum updated completion cost of each work of not less than Rs 270.41 lakhs (i.e., 40% of the estimated cost). The estimated cost of the work is Rs 67601490.00, and another estimated cost mentioned is Rs 202.80 lakhs. The average updated annual financial turnover during the last three years should be at least 30% of the estimated cost.
