N2O PURGING
Inertization of entire pipeline between SVs (distances are given in SOR line) of 30-inch dia pipe, by supply, transportation and delivery of liquid nitrogen along with atmospheric vaporizer (minimum 3000 m3/hr capacity), arrangement of flexible hoses, temporary header and all associated valves & fittings for purging including work of purging by running pig, all required manpower, machinery etc. to remove hydrocarbon from the pipeline by ensuring zero (0) LEL before cold cutting for modification work.
Nitrogen Purging for commissioning shall be carried out between mentioned SVs under the same SOR line. Party to submit the procedure for nitrogen purging and after approval job shall be carried out as per direction of EIC. Payment shall be made as per actual utilaztion of N2.

EXCAVATION
Earth work in excavation by mechanical means or manual means over area exceeding 30 cm in depth up to required depth but exceeding 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan including getting out and disposal of excavated earth upto 50 m and all lifts for all type of soils, as directed by Engineer-in- Charge. Supply of all material, manpower, resourses etc. & transportation to the site is in scope of contractor. Complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

MOBILIZATION CHARGES TO SV & IP STATIONS
"Mobilization of all Contractor Supply materials along with contractor's manpower and materials to the work sites (all SVs and IPs) for the execution of the job as per the instruction of EIC. In case of mulitiple numbers of mobilization by the contractor, one time payment shall be made for mobilization to each SV. No additional payment shall be made for subsiquent mobilization. The contractor has to plan for the mobilization accordingly. The payment against this SOR line item shall bemade after the completion of the job. "

FABRICATION, ERECTION, COLT CUTTING, INSTALLATION AND TESTING OF PIPING-SIZE-02 INCH
"Receiving and taking over of all Owner supplied materials from Owner's designated place(s) of issue, transportation including loading, unloading, handling from Owner's designated place(s) of issue to work site(s) including arranging all necessary intermediate storage area(s) thereof, as required. Supply of all materials, equipment, consumables as defined in Contractor's scope of supply and their transportation to the work site(s). Performing all above ground/buried piping fabrication works including cold cutting, edge preparation (inclusive of grinding the edges of pipes, fittings, flanges etc. to match with the matching edges of uneven/ different thickness wherever required), fit up, pre-heating wherever required, welding, threading etc. Erection of pipes of all types and thickness over sleepers, overhead on racks and at all elevations; hook-up with all types of inline and online instruments such as pressure/thermal safety valves(other than those covered separately), fittings of all sizes i.e. flow tees, insulating joints, elbows, reducers, tees, 'o' lets, flanges, blind flanges, spectacle blinds, tappings for pressure gauges, thermowells, hoses and hose couplings of all sizes,ifapplicable, vents and drains required for process and hydrotesting purposes etc. including carrying out non-destructive testing (excluding radiography covered subsequently in SOR) such as magnetic particle/ liquid penetration etc. as required.
Pre-commissioning and providing commissioning assistance Owner for process piping and commissioning of non-process piping if applicable; clean-up and restoration of site, preparation of as built drawings, documents and project records; transportation of surplus free issue materials to Owner's designated place(s); completing all works in all respects as per the drawings, specifications, standards and other provisions of Contract and instruction of Engineer-in-Charge. DPT kit to be provided by the contractor for the periodic inspection during welding. The contractor has to perform qualification of welding procedure including Electrode Qualification (as per the Technical Specification for Welding provided in the Tender) on the same pipe that will be used for construction. The expenditure towards this activity is included in this SOR line item. Supply of all tools & tackles, rectifiers, consumables, lifting tools, Hydra, manpoer etc. required to complete this SOR line items is in the scope of contractor to complete the work in all aspects. Note :-
a) All butt welded fittings end shall generally match with connecting pipe wall thickness. However, in case of misalignment, contractor shall have to do end preparation accordingly without any extra cost.
b) All couplings, nipples etc. as required shall be supplied by contractor without any extra cost.

RADIOGRAPHY TESTING "Performance of radiographic inspection of piping of all types, sizes, thickness including providing or hiring of all necessary equipment, supply of all consumables including radiographic films and whatever else even though not expressly mentioned but required to perform the work as per specification and instructions of Engineer-in-Charge. HYDROTESTING OF PRE-FABRICATED SPOOLS "Hydro testing of pipes at various pressures (maximum 140 Kg/Sqcm or as per EIC) with holding period decided by EIC, at designated yard or as directed by EIC. The job includes handling of pipe within work/yard area, making all arrangement for hydro testing like providing end caps & header, welding end caps, welding of headers, pumps etc. and making pipe edges ready by bevelling after completion of test etc. Hydrostatic test shall be performed in accordance with approved Hydrostatic Test Diagrams clearly indicating the number of test sections and minimum and maximum test pressures in each test sections. All such works that are not indicated here below but are otherwise required completing the work in all respects shall form part of Contractor's Scope of Work. Hydrostatic test shall commence only after Clearance from GAIL as per length and section finalised by GAIL. Water quality as per specified standards may be used and additive shall be checked and inspected by GAIL.
