The bidder's prior work experience requirements include having successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed, with a value of not less than 35% of the work to be subcontracted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the tenderer must have completed similar works for each component of the tender, with values of 30%, 40%, or 60% of the advertised value of each component. The definition of similar work includes track works involving deep screening, TSR, TRR, casual renewals, TWR, turnouts, or dismantling of tracks. The work experience certificate can be issued by a government organization or a public listed company with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years, supported by documents such as the work order, bill of quantities, and payment details.
