18)As the catalyst is loaded, catalyst dust or fines are released into the atmosphere of the reactor. This can create a dust cloud inside the reactor, which can reduce visibility to the point where it is difficult to work. In addition, the catalyst fines will settle on the catalyst, which can cause increased pressure drop during operation. To prevent this, a vacuum hose (usually 3-6 in.) is placed in the reactor to remove the dust. The hose should be suspended in the bed being loaded, above personnel working in the bed. The dust control system should have a collection/ separatorto catch the catalyst dust before it enters the vacuum system. Never connect the vacuum hose to the bottom reactor nozzle; fines will be pulled through the catalyst which can cause pressure drop buildup during the run. 19)Catalyst loading Contractor to Barricade the work‐area for restriction of any unwanted movements during the course of execution of their work. Contractor Shall arrange necessary materials for Barricading 20)Catalyst loading Contractor scope of work includes arrangement of relevant certificate for breathing apparatus & other lifesaving equipment to be used by the party during execution of the job 21)Catalyst loading Contractor should submit their safety plan & safe operating procedures for this job prior to startup of the job 22)Catalyst loading Contractor scope of work includes arrangement of Rescue team with personnel trained to use personal protective & rescue equipment properly 23)Catalyst loading Contractor to ensure that each entrant must use retractable fall arrester, full body harness with life line.
