CLADDING JOBS FOR BARRICADING STRUCTURE: Providing and laying in position approved quality profiled GI Sheets of 0.50mm thickness in barricading, including cost of all materials, delivery to site, cutting, metering, lapping, providing cut-outs for fixing accessories and necessary approved quality corrosion proof fasteners with neoprene capping and washers ridges, valleys, gutters, gutters of required shape, apron pieces, flashing etc all complete and with all accessories required for the cladding works including necessary scaffolding for erection jobs and as shown on drawings, specified and directed.

Shifting and Erecting 2.00 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.50mx2.00m made of 40x40x6mm angle iron or 50x50x3mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/ bracings covered with 1.63mm thick MS sheet. Shifting to be done from any location within the refinery premises to any location within the refinery premises Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning . The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Engineer-in-Charge . The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously. Rate include labour, equipments (including crane) and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- Barricading of 2.5m x 2.00m shall be provided by BANDR. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of BANDR on completion of the work).

Dismantling of Barricading Steel structures up to any height alongwith adjacent fittings /members by cutting /de-bolting or by any othermeans without damaging the remaining unit and lowering down to the ground ,scaffolding,segregation of all the usable materials The job is inclusive of all required labour, consumables,tools & tackles, machinery & equipment' sand transportation to thestorage point as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge,outside the battery area.

Dismantling Of Barricadding GI sheet of any height and stacking within refinery area as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Fixing and keeping in position at all levels and locations THREADED BOLTS of Grade C property class 8.8 as per IS:1363 of all diameters and length including nuts, washers for supporting equipment on steel structure as directed including handling & transporting, straightening if required, turning from relevant size M.S. rounds to required diameter, threading etc.

STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS (FABRICATION & ERECTION): Transporting, unloading, unpacking at contractors fabrication yard. Fabrication of structural steel for pipe rack, technological structures, circular/rectangular equipment platforms with ladders, toe-guards, spiral stairway, technological platforms, Hose reel stands, valve operating platforms, floor openings, interconnecting platforms, walkway, cross over, operating platform etc. as per drawing including layout marking, cutting, bending, grinding welding, inspection, complete in all respect to satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Erection of fabricated structural items, aligning bolting, field welding, minor modifications/ rectification, torqueing, grouting as per the drawing and the specifications at all levels and at all locations complete in all respects to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Scope also includes :Providing Plant, Equipment, Machineries (i.e. Hydra crane, DG Sets, Welding Machines, etc.), all the tools & tackles, consumables, steel scaffolding at all location and all elevation, manpower, PPE, supervision, torqueing machine etc. and assembly of permanent bolts ( As per project specifications permanent bolts conforming to IS 1367 Grade 8.8, Nuts of property class 8.0 or higher conforming to IS 1367 & plain washers conforming to IS 2016 shall be used), Carrying out welder qualification, and establishing WPS/PQR ,constructability study, obtaining the Third Party Inspection services as required, final field documentation as per theinstruction and to the full satisfaction of owner/Engineer-in-Charge.

The quoted rate shall be inclusive of all the above. The mode of measurement shall be as follows: The measurement shall be in metric ton & payment shall be made on finished structural steel weight as per approved fabrication drawings and the respective bill of materials prepared by the B and R and approved by the Engineer-in-Charge.The weight of structural steel materials/plates shall be calculated wherever necessary on the basis of IS hand book. If sections are different from I.S. section, then manufacturers hand book shall be adopted.Sections built out of plates shall be paid on the actual weight incorporated. Welds, bolts, nuts, shims, packing plates, washers etc. shall not be measured. Rate of structural steel work shall be deemed to include the same.

Structural steel conforming to IS:2062 Grade E250 B0 / E250 BR as and Jindal section like UB, UC shall be of Grade S275 JR/JO conforming to BS EN 10025 as indicated in design drawing, transporting, storing of rolled up section, square hollow section etc, that will be used to build platforms, ladders, safety chain for ladder, staircases, technological structures, pipe supports, strengthening of steel members etc. Laboratory test of structural steel after the material received at site. In addition to availability of valid BIS license and MTC, for each category / size of structural steel procured, one sample from every 50 MT or part thereof shall be drawn and tested in approved laboratory. The charges for such testing included in quoted unit rate. Fabrication of Structural Steel Materials into Structural Elements / Modules as defined in the Fabrication / Detailed Drawings. The fabricated member shall be tagged with strip for identification as per fabrication drawing. Erection of Fabricated Structural Steel Elements such as columns, beams, platforms, ladders, safety chain for ladder, staircases, technological structures, pipe supports, strengthening of steel members etc / Structural Modules in position along with fixing of all type of Connection Bolts (Erection, Hot Dip Galvanised/Non-Galvanised Permanent bolts), supply and placing of shim plates as per Specifications, Layouts and Fabrication Drawings released for IFC. Scope shall include all activities like Bolting, Welding, Aligning, making necessary alterations caused due to mismatch of Bolt Holes and / or during fabrication, Rate shall also include Torque Tightening of Bolts (HSFG Connection), supply of shim plates & approved welding electrodes, including making templates, welding, (including sealing the joints of box sections with continuous welding), finishing edges by grinding, cleaning, giving final touches to the welded parts, etc as required complete in all respect. Making necessary arrangement of required labour, equipment, tools & tackles, steel scaffolding, consumables, etc to execute the works at all heights as per drawings and specifications along with all related works in order that the Structure is handed over to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge.Scope shall also include , as per design drawing shall be welded at yard.

Same as item description 15.0, (as described in 15.0 to 15.1 - Fabrication and Erection) But installing in the existing Steel Structure The rate includes providing necessary special welding booth as required.

MODULAR STRUCTURAL STEEL WORKS FOR TECHNOLOGICAL STRUCTURES (FABRICATION, LIFTING, TRANSPORTATION & ERECTION): fabrication and erection of Prefabricated modular structure for Technological structure. The scope includes transporting , unloading, unpacking at Contractors fabrication yard . In addition to availability of valid BIS license and MTC, for each category / size of structural steel procured, one sample from every 50 MT or part thereof shall be drawn and tested in approved laboratory. The charges for such testing included in quoted unit rate. The fabricated member shall be tagged with strip for identification as per fabrication drawing.

Fabrication of structural steel in modules for technological structure, floor framing & staircase as per construction drawing including layout marking, cutting, bending, grinding welding, , inspection, complete in all respect to satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge. Assembling of fabricated structural items, bolting / welding (As per project specifications permanent bolts conforming to IS 1367 Grade 8.8, Nuts of property class 8.0 or higher conforming to IS 1367 & plain washers conforming to IS 2016 shall be used), minor modifications/ rectification, torqueing, as per the drawing and the specifications at all levels and at all locations complete in all respects to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge., as per design drawing shall be welded at yard. No welding is allowed during erection.

Note that quoted rate of manpower deployment shall be inclusive of required PPEs and facilities required for functioning at site. (1 Man-Month should be considered as 30 man-days).
