(a) All kinds of Soil

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. (a) All kinds of Soil

Providing and laying graded granular material (moorum) in layers not exceeding 20cm (loose) in thickness (each layer) and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Breaking clods, watering, consolidating each layers with power road roller 8-10 tonne, under optimum moisture content to give density not less than that specified of the maximum modified standard proctor density at OMC including levelling, fine dressing to the required camber, grade and slope etc. complete. The K-value of 30MN/M3 shall be ensured on top of this layer (payment to be made for the compacted quantity only) by conducting 01 number of Plate load test on the site, the location shall be decided by the engineer in charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (a) With material conforming to Grade-I (size range 75 mm to 0.075 mm) having CBR Value-30.

Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub base over a prepared sub-grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specifications, cement content not to be less than 150 Kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, for all leads & lifts, laid with a mechanical paver, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc. complete as per direction of Engineerin- charge.

Providing and laying polythene sheet of 400 microns on the base course with overlap of not less than 75 mm longitudnally and 75mm transversly and as directed by the engineer in charge.

Providing and laying design mix cement concrete of M-30 grade, in roads/ taxi tracks/ runways, using cement content as per design mix, using coarse sand and graded stone aggregate of 40 mm nominal size in appropriate proportions as per approved & specified design criteria, providing dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars wherever required, laying at site, spreading and compacting mechanically by using needle and surface vibrators, levelling to required slope/ camber, finishing with required texture, including steel form work with sturdy M.S. channel sections, curing, making provision for contraction/ expansion, construction & longitudinal joints (10 mm wide x 50 mm deep) by groove cutting machine, providing and filling joints with approved joint filler and sealants, complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge (Item of joint fillers, sealants, dowel bars with sleeve/ tie bars to be paid separately). Note:- Cement content considered in M-30 is @ 340 kg/cum. Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/ recoverable separately. (a) Cement concrete manufactured in automatic batching plant (RMC plant) i/c transportation to site in transit mixer.

Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for plain cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Portland Pozzolana/Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads; but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the following grades of concrete. Note: Extra cement up to 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the minimum specified cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement. All works upto plinth level : Concrete of M10 grade with minimum cement content of 220 kg /cum

Providing and laying in position Polysulphide sealant of approved make conforming to BS-5212-1990 or IS: 11433-1995. in expansion/ construction/dummy joints including rounding off edges, applying 2 coats of approved primer compatible with the brand of Polysulphide and preparing the surface and applying masking tape along the edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after application of sealant etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in-Charge & particular specifications. [Note: For purpose of payment, quantity (Length x Width x Depth) of Polysulphide sealant only will be measured.] i) Expansion Joints of size 25 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 30 mm dia closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod, as per manufacturers specifications. ii) Construction Joints of size 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 12 dia closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod, as per manufacturers specifications. iii) Dummy Joints of size 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep over 12 mm dia closed-cell Polyethylene foam back-up rod, as per manufacturer’s specifications. Add for using extra cement in the items of design mix over and above the specified cement content therein.

Providing and laying in position for expansion joint, 25mm thick pre cut Synthetic joint filler board of approved make (HD 100) conforming to IS:1838 (part 3)-2011, 45 mm from top (to be removed at the time of filling of Silicon sealent), complete as per particular specifications and directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Nothing extra shall be paid for the filler board from top upto the bottom of polyethylene backing rod.). Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Providing and laying vitrified floor tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved make, in all colours and shades, laid on 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/ sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., complete. Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08 % andconforming to I.S. 15622, of approved make, in all colours & shade, in skirting, riser of steps, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1cement: 3 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joint with white cement & matching pigments etc. complete. (a) Size of Tile 600x600 mm

Making plinth protection 50mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources) over 75mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including necessary excavation, levelling & dressing & finishing the top smooth.

Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retroreflective) of specified shade/ colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/ semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications.

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete. (a) Hot finished seamless type tubes.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : (a) Two or more coats on new work

Srtuctural Design of pavement for cargo road as per the given loading. The loading and soil parameters will be supplied by AAI. This item includes supply of 03 sets of vetted colour drawing including good for construction drawing. The vetting of the drawing shall be done from IIT/NIT as per the instructions of Engineer-in-charge.
