Supply & Installation of IAAF European Track Sandwich systemA seamless, water impermeable Walking/ Jogging track system having base layer with SBR (cast in-situ) that is being entirely adhered to the existing concrete base by means of a specially developed polyurethane adhesive and SBR Granules. Consumption rate over existing concrete base are 7.0 kg/m² for SBR and 1.45 kg/m² of PU Binder. Priming overexisting concrete base should be at 0.20 Kg/ m², PU material for wear layer to be used 2.3 kg/m² of polyurethane. Product should be tested and certified as per IAAF & EN-14877 Norms. Track should have a overall thickness of 14.5 mm (+/- 4% max tolerance) with the 11 mm of the Base layer and 3 mm of wear layer.Manufacturer should be from Europe (No Asian / Turkey) and his products should have been used for European Championships. Surface average technical standards should include 0.86 MPA/mm Tensile Strength, 77% Elongation at Break, 41 % Force Reduction at 39.60C, 1.8 mm Vertical Deformation at 39.60C, should be Spike resistance, Average friction value of system should be 65. Wear coat to be applied “wet-in-wet” and homogeneous. EPDM granules are to be broadcasted into wet polyurethane wear coat. Supply rate should be 3.6 kg/m². Excess EPDM is to be removed after polyurethane wear coat is cured (this excess quantity is returnable to supplier). EPDM content in wearing surface after removal of excess granules should be 2.8 kg/m² net. P as per satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
