Earthwork in excavation in foundation trenches /over areas in all types of stratas comprising of any of type materials such as soil, silt, sand, clay, gravel, murrum of all varieties, shingle, pebbles all types of conglomerates, laterite rock, ordinary rock, disintegrated rock, fissured/shattered rock, decomposed rock or weathered rock and all such other materials as described under Appendix “A” to these specification either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any method or methods as may be convenient or permitted inclusive of blasting chiselling, wedging etc. In all conditions such as dry, moist foul, submerged satrured etc. and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc. all complete including dressing of sides ramming of bottom including all leads and lifts including getting out the excavated soil as directed including pumping and boiling out water barricading danger lighting guarding as directed by the department officer. Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggregate 40 m nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing (a) All works upto plinth level
