Earthwork in excavation for roadway by mechanical means(hydraulic excavator) or manual means as per drawing and technical specification in all types of strata comprising of any of the materials such as soil,silt,clay, gravel,murrum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rocks etc, soft rock, ordinary rocks, disintegrated rocks, fissured shattered / decomposed rock or weathered rock and all such materials as described under Appendix to those specifications either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as the case may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiseling and wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist,saturated, submerged, foul conditions etc. including loading in truck for carrying cut earth to embankment site with all leads and lifts as per MoRTH specification 301 including trimming bottom and sides slopes in accordance with requirement of lines, grade and cross section including pumping and bailing out of water, back filling the excavated earth to the extent required and utilizing the remaining earth locally for road work for all depths, barricading, danger lighting, guarding and disposal of surplus excavated earth etc all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Rubble packing with hard laterite stone under floors including watering ramming and consolidating etc. in pipeline trenches and other foundations complete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand: 4 graded granitic or basaltic stone aggregate 40 m nominal size) excluding cost of centering, shuttering and finishing : All works upto plinth level
