Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation of structures of culvert, abutments ,piers, retaining wall etc. as per drawing and technical specification in all types of strata comprising of any of the materials such as soil,silt,sand,clay, gravel,murrum of all varieties, shingles, pebbles, all types of conglomerates, laterite rocks etc, soft rock, ordinary rocks, disintegrated rocks, fissured shattered / decomposed rock or weathered rock and all such materials as described under Appendix to those specifications either in full or in parts as the case may be adopting any approved method or methods as the case may be convenient or permitted inclusive of chiseling and wedging etc. in all conditions such as dry, moist,saturated, submerged, foul etc. including setting out,construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom, back filling the excavated earth to the extent required and utilizing the remaining earth locally for road work for all depths as per MoRT & H Specification 304,including pumping and bailing out of water, barricading, danger lighting, guarding and disposal of excavated earth,etc. as directed by the engineer in charge all complete.

Providing and laying 50mm(consolidated thickness)full grout using granitic or basaltic stone of specified grading at 6.00 cu.m. per 100 sq.m. grouting with hot bitumen straight run bitumen(or with such bituminous material of grade and type as specified by the Engineer-in-Charge)at 5.0kg. per sq. m. binding with key aggregate of granitic or basaltic stone of specified grading at 1.5 cu.m. per 100 sq.m. including Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminious surface laid with F.E loader with 1 Cu.m. bucket capacity to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type A seal coat with 0.98 kg/sqm of bitumen of grade as per MoRT&H specifications clause 513.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen grade of 80/100 or bitumen emulsion using pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom as per MoRT&H specifications clause 503. a)Bitumen 80/100 @ 0.20 kg/sq.m
