Cutting & removal of grass ,wild growth, rank vegetation including all types of shrubs, all sorts of creepers, plants etc. to the level up to atleast 100 mm from natural ground level by deploying sufficient workers and specified number and type of weeding machines in the various Port specified areas during the years in specified period in two occasions in a year as directed including removal of cut weeds rubbish by lorries to place outside MPA estate and its disposal in proper enviro-friendly manner and leave the site clear etc. complete as directed and handing over these area to the department in complete weeded condition after the completion of the work in each occasions All tools, plants, equipment's, labour and materials, transport, fuel, heavy duty weeding machines, safety equipment’s etc. complete. Notes: i) Total areas to be weeded/cut, cleared and handed over in each occasion within the specified perid. = 2,65,341.00 m2. ii) Minimum heavy duty fuel operated machine with operator required manpower and fuel to be deployed during the entire contract period - 3 NOS. iii) 1st occasion weeding of entire areas of 2,65,341 sqm. from July to October. Payable at the rate of 60 % of the quoted rate. iv) 2nd occasion weeding of entire areas of 2,65,341 sqm. from Jan to April. Payable at the rate of 40 % of the quoted rate. v) In any condition and under any excuse no fire shall be set/put to burn the removed dry weeds and cut weeds to be transported out of premises.
