Removing and Lifting old damaged tyre fenders of approx. 9-12 nos., cutting of old corroded exposed M.S. bars on fender walls using gas cutting tools , 1no. corroded damaged M.S. ladder, dismantling/cutting lifting old corroded chains, loading, unloading, transporting to MM stores, etc as directed by the Chief Engineer or his authorised representative. All tools, materials, plants, labour, etc. complete.

Providing and fixing 32mm dia MS/ E.N.8 eye hooks by installing/ inserting 250mm deep into the berth top face including drilling up to 250mm long hole in RCC surface for fixing 32mm dia hooks, anchored using compound of FOSROC make or equivalent into the holes etc. rate include all drilling and providing and fixing eye hooks painting with a coat of primer and two coats of anti-corrosive paint as directed and including shifting and suspending tyre fenders available tyre (for Giant Tyres) in position with M.S. short link chain, both supplied by department (contractor is required to collect tyres and M.S. chain from AXEN (MOHP) store/ Near gate no.9/MM stores at Baina) including making three holes in tyres as directed, providing , fabricating, fixing 100mm dia G.I. sleeves made of G.I. pipes 100mm dia (class B) each 150mm long welded at one end 10mm thick M.S. plate (4nos per tyre) outside and inside of tyre fenders to prevent tear of tyre around the hole to which MS chain link shall pass through slot made in the plate as directed and assembly is passed through a 110mm dia approx. circular hole made in tyre surface and the other end of the m.s chain is clamped to the eye hook using bull dog clamp of proper size providing safety equipment’s, pontoons, scaffolding, deploying crane , tipper for transporting, etc. as directed by the Chief Engineer or his authorised representative. All tools, plants, labour and materials etc. complete. (rate includes the cost of supply and fabrication, GI pipes, MS plates, bull dog clamps and installing of tyre fenders.) Note: water and electricity will be supplied by the department free of cost, subject to availability at the nearest point. Contractor shall provide onsite adequate quantity supply of drinking water for the use of contractor's staff, workmen etc.

Fabrication and installation of M.S. Bollard ( of existing cylindrical type on barge berth/jetty in Mormugao Port Authority ) of 220mm dia and 300-320mm height using 12mm thick M.S. Plate for the cylindrical portion and for top cover/lid, providing 2 nos. of 40mm dia M.S. Pin upto 500mm approx. length in horizontal position for the bollard, providing 400x400x20mm size M.S. plate for the base plate of bollard , providing and fixing 8 nos of Anchor bolts of 32mm dia embedded in RCC with anchor grout of FOSROC Lokfix or equivalent, providing M.S. Nuts, washer for the anchor bolts, etc., providing 2 nos. of 40mm dia M.S. round bar/rod of upto 500mm length (placed and inserted vertically in the bollard, slab/beam as directed for anchor of bollard including core cutting/ drilling holes of upto 300mm depth approx. in RCC slab/beam, etc. for embedding/inserting 32mm dia anchor bolts and 40mm dia M.S. rod in RCC slab/beam , fixing in position and chipping and cleaning the surface including dismantling , cutting base plate in round shape/slots of appropriate size for passing anchor bolts, fixing 12mm thick m.s. plate , including welding, cutting, rolling of M.S. Plate embedding cement concrete (1:2:4)in the cylindrical portion of bollard etc., chipping, levelling, cleaning, making good the floor /base surface including painting the bollard with 2 (two)coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of metal primer, etc. complete as directed by the Chief Engineer or his authorised representative. All tools, plants, materials, labour etc. complete.
