The Region Will Only Accept Electronic Bid Submissions Submitted Through The Region’s Bids And Tenders Website For This Request For Tender. Hard Copy Bid Submissions Will Not Be Accepted.  Bids Must Be Submitted And Received By The Region Not Later Than 1:00:00 P.m., Local Time As Established By The Research Council Of Canada. Brief Description Of Work: This Request For Tenders (the “rft”) Is An Invitation By The Regional Municipality Of York (the “region”) To Prospective Bidders To Submit Bids For The Supply And Delivery Of Authorized Original Equipment Manufacturer Parts And Services For The Region’s Freightliner Trucks As Further Described In Section A Of The Rft Particulars (appendix A) (the “deliverables”). This Request For Tender Is To Identify A Service Provider For The Supply Of All Labour, Parts And Equipment Necessary To Service The Region’s Fleet Services Freightliner Heavy Trucks, Including Parts, For Preventative Work And Work Covered Under The Oem Warranty, On An As Required Basis. This Opportunity Is Open To All Authorized Dealers Of Freightliner Oem Parts And Services On A Non-exclusive Basis. The Region’s Fleet Services Operates An In-house Vehicle Maintenance Facility Located At 90 Bales Drive East, East Gwillimbury, On L0g 1v0 (the “vehicle Facility”). With Twenty-seven (27) Freightliner Trucks Spread Throughout The Region, There Is A High Workload On Preventative Maintenance And Repairs Requiring Oem Parts And/or Service.
