Background With The Heightened Global Production Of Covid-19 Vaccines, Several Low- And Middle-income Countries (lmics) Continue To Face Delayed Or Insufficient Quantities Of Doses Due To High Dependency On Importations. During A Pandemic, Importations Are Directly Impacted By Disrupted Supply Chains Causing Shortage And Stock-outs. This Scenario Brings Limcs Increased Interest In Strengthening Their Local Production Capacity To Improve Access To Quality-assured Medical Products And Vaccines, Strengthen Health Security And Reach Health-related Targets And Broader Development Goals Of Sdgs.   Purpose/specific Objective Of The Activity To Support The Who Regional Office For The Western Pacific In Strengthening Capacity Of Local Production Of Medical Products And Vaccines In Lmics.   Methods To Carry Out The Activity Under The Supervision And Guidance Of The Medical Officer, Rss, Emt, Dhs At The Who Regional Office For The Western Pacific, The Selected Partner Will Provide Technical Assistance To Member States In Order To Deliver The Following: Output/s Output 1:  Regular Monitoring And Update Of Local Development And Production Of Vaccines & Medicines As Well As Global And Regional Stakeholders Policy Directions • Deliverable 1.1:  Consolidated Report Of Local Development, Technology Transfer, Production Of Covid-19 Vaccines • Deliverable 1.2:  Analytics Of Developments Of Global And Regional Stakeholders In Public And Private Sectors Output 2:  Drafting An Interim Guidance On The Development Of A National Roadmap To Establish Or Expand Local Production Capacity And Capability • Deliverable 2.1: Concept Note With Background, Scope, Objectives, Development Timeline For Draft Guidance On Key Target Countries • Deliverable 2.2: Improved Version Of Interim Guidance Draft With Expert Consultation/review Output 3:  Regional Implementation Of Equitable Access To Safe Blood And Blood Product And Essential Medical Device • Deliverable 3.1: Regional Landscape Analysis On Equitable Access To Safe Blood And Blood Product, And Essential Medical Device • Deliverable 3.2: Technical Support To Countries On Equitable Access To Safe Blood And Blood Product, And Essential Medical Device   Qualifications & Experience Education Essential:  a University Degree In Pharmacy, Epidemiology Or Other Health-related Course From A Recognized Institution. Desirable: Postgraduate Studies In Public Health, Epidemiology Or Other Related Field Related To The Function Of The Post From A Recognized Institution.   Experience Essential: At Least Five Years Of Professional Experience, Including International Experience In Product Registration And Marketing Authorization, Supply Chain Management Desirable: Experience In Public Health Programs/policies At National Or Sub-national Levels In The Asia-pacific   Technical Skills & Knowledge 1. Data Management And Statistical Skills Including Proficiency In Statistical Programmes And Packages 2. Economic/epidemiological Skills And Research Experience.   Languages Written And Spoken Fluency In English Is Essential.   Competencies 1. Teamwork 2.
