Background Tuvalu Endorsed The Health Reform Strategy 2016 – 2019 Which Is Aligned With The Te Kakeega Iii, The National Sustainable Development Plan 2016-2020, That Envisions The Key Objectives To Achieve Sustainable Development Goals In The Time Period. Aligning With Health-related Goals Proposed, The Health Reform Strategy Addresses Health Issues And Health Indicators To Track Progress And The Impact Of Health Programmes Over The 2016-2019 Period. It Also Identifies The Moh’s Vision, Mission, Goals, Guiding Principles And Strategic Objectives That Guides The Ministry In Implementing The Plans. The Ministry Has Been Publishing Annual Health Reports Which Contribute To Evaluating Health Programmes And Services With Key Health Outcome And Service Indicators. Given That The World Health Organization Has Been Providing Technical Support For Member States To Review And Analyse Their Achievements And Gaps In Implementing Health Plans And Programmes, Annual Health Reporting Remains A Key Activity For The Review And Development Of Robust National Health Policies, Strategies And Plans (nhpsp), Which Also Helps To Track The Progress Towards Universal Health Coverage And The Sustainable Development Goals (2015-2030). Potentially Data And Reports Collected For This Annual Health Report Will Inform The Next Tuvalu National Health Strategic Plan For 2020-23 Which Is Going To Be Endorsed By The Ministry Soon. Therefore, This Contract Is To Support The Ministry Of Health Of Tuvalu To Draft The Annual Health Report 2020 Incorporating The Results Of Key Health Indicators.   Purpose/specific Objective Of The Activity The Ministry Of Health Of Tuvalu Has Been Publishing Annual Health Reports With Key Health Statistics, Outcomes And Analysis In Line With The Health Reform Strategy 2016 – 2019. This Contract Is To Support The Ministry To Draft The Annual Health Report 2020 As A Monitoring Tool For The Strategy And To Inform The Upcoming 2020-2024 National Health Strategy.   Description Of Activities To Be Carried Out Output/s In Collaboration With Who Phs And The Ministry Of Health Of Tuvalu, The Contractor Will: Collect Necessary Health Data Of Calendar Year 2020 Which Include: Key Health Indicators For Demographics, Health Outcomes And Service Utilisation Indicators That Are To Be Covered In The Health Report Key Health System Indicators For Governance, Human Resources, Health Financing (esp. Overseas Medical Treatment And Associated Costs), Medicines And Procurement, Health Information Systems And Health Service Accessibility And Availability Other Relevant Data As Advised By Moh And Who Conduct Consultations With Key Moh Officials And Stakeholders About Achievements, Bottlenecks And Lessons Learnt During Implementation Of The Annual Activity Plan (against The National Health Strategy Goals And Objectives) In 2020 Draft The Draft Annual Health Report 2020 In Line With The National Health Strategy And Submit For Review.   Methods To Carry Out The Activity Desktop Review With Available Resources Conference Calls With Technical Units Of Moh When Needed   Qualifications & Experience Education: Masters Level Health Service Management, Health Information Management, Or A Medical Doctor Or Phd Specialised In Public Health, Health Service Management Or Health Policy With Working Experience In Public Health Sector. Experience: At Least 10 Years Of Working Experience In Public Health Sector, Including More Than Five Years Of International Work Experience In Above Areas. Experience In Writing Annual Health Reports Would Be An Asset.
