Technical Assistance For Strengthening Regulatory Systems To Ensure Access To Quality-assured Medicines In Papua New Guinea & The General Objective Of This Technical Assistance Is To Support Papua New Guinea In Strengthening A Functioning Medicines Regulatory System That Ensures The Quality, Efficacy, And Safety Of Medical Products Safeguarding Public Health In The Country, Which Is Also Envisioned To Contribute Towards The Establishment Of A Pacific Islands Sub-regional Model For Medicine Regulation.   Specifically, This Technical Support Aims To Support The Capacity Of The Medicines Quality Control Laboratory (mqcl) Through The Following Strategic Outcomes: (1) Well- Functioning Quality Management System (qms) Maintained Providing Assurance In The Quality Of Testing Activities; And (2) Improving Technical Capacity And Competencies To Perform Calibration And Preventative Equipment Service And Quality Control (qc) System.
