The Un World Food Programme Is Currently In The Process Of Implementing A Two-year Road Map On The Inclusion Of Persons With Disabilities (physical, Mental, Intellectual Or Sensory). Inclusion Means The Meaningful Participation Of Persons With Disabilities In All Their Diversity, The Promotion Of Their Rights And The Consideration Of Disability-related Perspectives. Wfp Procures A Large Range Of Goods And Services. The Updated Procurement Policies Of Wfp ensure That All Relevant Procurements Consider Accessibility And Will Not Introduce New Barriers For Persons With Disabilities. The Requisitioners Will Need To review Their Procurements With Respect To Relevance For Inclusion Of Persons With Disabilities And Decided On Whether Adjustments Or Alternatives Should Be Considered. Wfp Is Now Seeking To Establish Long Term Agreement(s) With Service Providers That Can Provide Consulting Services In Support Of Requisitioners, Assessing Whether The Requirement Is Relevant For Persons With Disabilities, If The Requirement Is Accessible/causes Barriers To Persons With Disabilities, And/or If There Are Alternatives To Allow For The Ease Of Access.
