The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. In case of subletting, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be sublet, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The required prior work experience is related to the calculation of Available Bid Capacity, which involves providing the maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years or the current financial year, and details of existing commitments and balance amount of ongoing works. The percentages of similar works completed mentioned are 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender, and 35% of the value of the work to be sublet. The amount for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh is also mentioned.
