The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed certain categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. The required prior work experience includes: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the requirements are similar, with the percentages (30%, 40%, 60%) applied to the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have completed at least one similar work costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted in the last 5 years, unless the subletting work costs up to Rs 50 lakh, in which case no prior experience is required. The work experience certificate can be from a Govt. Organization or a Public listed company with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years. Additionally, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover calculated based on the advertised value of the tender and the number of years prescribed for completion of work.
