Western Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to work of similar nature, which includes Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning of "OFC" and/or "Quad cable"/Telecom cable work, including trenching, laying/blowing, jointing of such cables with SDH network and NMS, Railway Control Communication System, or OEM. The bidder should have completed any kind of work executed in Railway, including AMC given as work contract. The tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of the advertised value of the tender. No specific percentage of similar works completed is mentioned in terms of completion percentage, but the bidder needs to provide information about similar work experience as part of the bidding process. However, the percentages mentioned above (30%, 40%, 60%) are related to the advertised value of the tender.
