The required prior work experience for the bidder is 4 years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work (excluding maintenance cost for five years) for which the bid is invited. However, the exact percentage of similar works completed is not specified. In terms of financial turnover, the bidder should have achieved in any one year, a minimum financial turnover equivalent to: 60% of the amount put to bid, in case the amount put to bid is Rs.200 lakhs and less, and 75% of the amount put to bid, in case the amount put to bid is more than Rs. 200 lakhs. At least 50% of this turnover should be from Civil Engineering construction works. The bidder needs to provide information on their past projects, including the value of contracts and the actual date of completion. They also need to provide information on their annual turnover for the last five financial years, with a breakup of civil works and total works in each financial year. For technical personnel, the experience required is 3 years in road works for both degree and diploma holders in Civil Engineering. The bidder should have a minimum financial turnover equivalent to 60% of the amount put to bid, and at least 50% of this turnover should be from civil engineering construction works. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this Sub-Clause. The bidder's experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years is also required, along with details of works in progress or contractually committed with certificates from the concerned officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. In Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts, the figures of 60% and 75% would be replaced by 50%. The bidder needs to provide a certificate from a Chartered Accountant and a corresponding payment certificate for the years 2019-2020, 2020-2021, 2021-2022, 2022-2023, and 2023-2024.
